Hello Idaho

All the kids as we were leaving.
We got a slow start this morning after staying up too late last night, but it was worth it. After we said goodbye to Julie, Dan, Alex, and Megan, we hit the road and headed west. It was a pretty uneventful day on the road, traveling through Missoula and more of Montana. We finally crossed the line into Idaho! Yay! A new state!!!

A new state! Finally!
We are spending the night at a campground on Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It's beautiful here. Much greener then the landscapes we've seen in the last 10 days. The lake a huge and very scenic. I'm hoping to get some pictures before we leave in the morning. My battery died before I could get any this evening.

Maggie wanted Chinese for her birthday dinner, so we found one of the three Chinese restaurants in Idaho.. LOL. Just kidding. There were actually three in town, so we picked the buffet and Maggie enjoyed her dinner.

My new jacket!

Now we are tucked in for the night. We may take a quick kayak tour of this part of the lake before we leave tomorrow. But it's pretty cold, so I'm not we'll be up for that in the morning or not. Regardless, we're heading toward Portland tomorrow. And we are in the Pacific time zone now!
